History of the Arkansas County Fair

Founded in 1938 by the Rotary Club of DeWitt, the Arkansas County Fair & Livestock Show Association was formed and continues today. In January 1987, The Arkansas County Fair & Livestock Show Association officially became the Arkansas County Fair Association, Inc. and in May, 1992, the Association became a non-profit 501c3 corporation. The Associations Board of made up of citizens from all across Arkansas County and holds annual elections each year in January.
